We are looking to fill the roster with players born in 99′ and 2000 but 98′s who want to stay down a year are welcome to attend the tryout and compete for a roster position.

Players only need to be present at 1 date to make the team. We would strongly encourage you to make both dates if you can. Players not available on these dates can contact coach Wallace for information on arranging a possible tryout.

14U Diamond Dusters with Coach Matt Gates
This last year we were listed as Diamond Dusters (Gates) we are “The Diamond Dusters” second year 14U team.
We are looking for Young Ladies with the heart and desire to be the best Softball Players they can be!!! With a willingness to be coached and a drive toward greatness. We do have openings in our roster, Pitchers and Catchers are encouraged to come out, there will be an opportunity for a lot of innings for the right athletes. If this sounds like something you or a friend of yours might be interested in, then come check us out.
We do have a solid core of motivated ladies that have achieved or exceeded many of the goals they set for this last season and they look forward to the growth that continual challenge brings, especially during Tryouts.

14U Diamond Dusters with Coach Mike Nelson
1996 and 1997 birth years are eligible. Well established coaching staff from Sumner, Bonney Lake and Enumclaw areas. Two current college softball players are on staff with pitching, catching and slapping expertise.
This is a travel fastpitch club with all positions open. We have a solid core group and are looking to add motivated athletes to our club.

Several players from the National Championship University of Washington Softball Program will be at the Performance Baseball Center for two-hour clinics on Mondays this spring, clinics are from 4:00 to 6:00pm.

The University of Washington Softball Program held a hitting clinic for our Diamond Dusters girls on January 9, 2010 at West Hills Performance Center. Two UW players, Taylor Smith (catcher) and Niki Williams (infield) administered the training session. Our girls and coaches gained valuable hitting knowledge from the clinic. Also, the Q&A session was extremely beneficial and gave insight on the college recruiting process. Thanks again to Taylor and Niki for hosting the clinic.
The National Champions “University of Washington Lady Huskies” have teamed up with the Diamond Dusters to offer a hitting clinic exclusively for Diamond Duster Girls.
On Saturday, January 9th, UW Softball Players, Taylor Smith (catcher) and Niki Williams (infield) will hold a hitting clinic for our Diamond Dusters girls. This will be a two hour clinic at our West Hills Performance Center from 1:00 – 3:00 (2 hours). The cost is $30.00.
If you would like to sign up for this clinic, please contact me ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity and I really hope to see a lot of support for this. Living here in beautiful Kitsap County does have its drawbacks, one of them is getting premier clinics to our side of the water. It is usually us who must travel to Seattle for these clinics. This time it is in our own backyard! This definitely saves on ferry fares, gas, food, and a whole lot of travel time!

Searching for Practice Space
The Diamond Duster organization is looking for indoor practice space. We require enough space to set up batting cage(s) and/or hold pitching practices. Having a reliable place to hold year round practices would be a fantastic gift to our girls.
